Professor Sherif Wafsy is a highly accomplished engineer and academic leader with a wealth of experience in the field of power electronics and microprocessor-based control systems. He holds a Ph.D. in Power Electronics Engineering from Bristol University, an M.Sc. in Power Electronics from Helwan University, and a B.Sc. in Electric Power Engineering from Helwan University.
Throughout his career, Professor Wafsy has held a number of important positions in the field of engineering and academia. Currently, he is the Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors of Thebes Academy for International Cooperation and Engineering Consultancy. He also served as Dean of Engineering Division at the International Academy of Engineering and Media Sciences, where he was also a member of the Board of Directors. Additionally, He held several positions as Dean of Faculty of Engineering at Helwan University, Chairman of the Engineering Consulting Center, and Project Manager for various projects related to quality assurance and accreditation.
Professor Wafsy has also served as an arbitrator and evaluator for energy projects at the Science and Technological Development Fund, a member of the Board of Directors of Upper Egypt Electricity Distribution Company, and a member of the Permanent Scientific Committee for the promotion of professors and associate professors. He also served as Director of Technological Development Research Center (Engineering Consultation Center) at Helwan University.
Throughout his academic career, Professor Wafsy has been a dedicated teacher, researcher and supervisor. He has been a Professor of Power Electronic and Microprocessor Based Control Systems at the Department of Electric Power and Machines Engineering of Faculty of Engineering at Helwan University since 1994, and before that he held positions of Associate Professor, Lecturer and Assistant Lecturer. He also spent time as a seconded Professor to Technical College in Jeddah – Saudi Arabia, where he served as Head of the Department of Industrial Electronics Engineering.
Ahmed Wasfy is an Egyptian architect and interior designer who has the power to create and express daring and unique designs in a simple way that harmonizes space, add value and identity to spaces.
From residential projects to complex hospitality projects and anything in between, he is able to create a different character for every project. A character that is not only a story telling design concept but one that is also responsive to the nature of the project and the client.
Ahmed is a graduate of Faculty of Fine Arts, Architectural department and obtaining his Master’s of Science Degree from Cairo University, Faculty of Engineering, Architectural department with over 10 years of experience in architecture and interior design.
We believe that the integration and alignment of all the complementary design disciplines result into idiosyncratic experience.
Our goal is to meet the specific needs of each client with creative and appropriate design solutions.
We adopt the term “spatial narratives” into our language because we identify with it, describing
accurately our process and what we do; we are passionate about story telling and we believe in making spatial stories.
